Stephanie joined the partnership of Kāhui legal in July 2023, after previously being the Director of a Law Firm in Rotorua for many years.

Stephanie is an experienced litigator, working primarily in family law, mental health and all other litigation dealing with matters that impact whānau. She is Lawyer for Child, Lawyer for Subject Person, Counsel to Assist for mental health matters, and is also a member of the panel of lawyers approved to undertake work for the Central Authority (Ministry of Justice) in relation to applications under the Hague Convention on international Child Abduction and for the International Recovery of Maintenance.

Outside of work, Stephanie is the Deputy Chair of the Bay Trust and has previously been on the Law Society, Family Law Section executive as the Te Hunga Rōia Māori o Aotearoa representative. Stephanie is based in our Rotorua tari.
