Our work often involves working with Government

On behalf of our clients we are regularly called upon to engage with Government, including negotiating with officials and Ministers. We have a strong record of engagement in this area, particularly in those portfolios involving Māori issues (such as Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations and Māori Development in particular).

Through our extensive Treaty of Waitangi Settlement experience we have an intimate knowledge of the machinery of Government. We use this knowledge to work with Government officials and Ministers to achieve the desired outcomes for our clients. We have also been asked to provide advice to government departments on various Māori issues.
