Sarah is a Kaiwawao | Solicitor in Kāhui Legal’s commercial team. She works alongside the firm’s partners and senior lawyers to support clients, including kaupapa Māori organisations, charities and private businesses, on matters such as trust deeds, constitutions, contracts and governance arrangements. Intellectual property remains a core area of her work, particularly assisting with trade mark protection, while she is also gaining experience across wider commercial issues.
Sarah holds both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, Commercial Law and Taxation from Victoria University of Wellington. She joined Kāhui Legal in 2022 and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in June 2025.
She takes a practical and relationship-focused approach to her work, supporting the firm’s clients with clear, pragmatic assistance that reflects both commercial realities and kaupapa Māori values.
Outside of work, Sarah values spending time with her whānau and is the proud mum of her baby girl, Elsie.
