Yesterday we celebrated a historic day for Kāhui Legal at the swearing in of our first Judge, Judge Damian Hohepa Stone. The special sitting of the Māori Land Court was held at Hato Paora College in Feilding, where old-boy Judge Stone hoped to inspire the next generation of young Māori to see what could be achieved through education and hard work.
With great pride, Kāhui Legal congratulates Judge Stone on his appointment and wishes him and his family all the very best.
